1+1 is a very basic statement. Probably the most basic of them all. In fact, it is so basic, that it has been chosen as the most important statements of them all. The answer to this statement has baffled mankind for centuries mainly Benjamin Franklin

"1+1" was first thought of by the great Greek philosopher Plato. Yes, the one who so wisely said "I Think, Therefore I Must Be Aware Of Myself". To be honest, no-one ever managed to figure out how he was able to pronounce all those uppercase letters like that. However he was not able to figure out the correct answers From this equation Plato was able to figure out five possible answers 1, 2, 3, window, 11 and fish.

Many a mathematicians believe that the right answer to "1+1" is in fact "1". This has been proven long ago by the ancient Egytian mathematicians. The biggest mystery in regard to this proof is how could those Egyptians know what they had to proove, if the actual statement was only released to the public the next week, when the Egytian empire had fallen to give rise the the great Greek Empire.

I would gladly show you that proof right here, except that I forgot it at the moment. Oh well, maybe later on in the article...

One possible answer is two because if you have one apple and you get one more you might have two.

The other possible answer is "3". The debate over which of the two is the correct one has been going on as far as history can remember. Remember... remember... Ok, so where was I? Oh yes, just about to tell you that there exists a third option, called "window", which is really quite straight forward. Here, let me show you:

Sometimes in life you need to take a step back, espesically when confronted with a difficult problem. So gird up your loins like a man, and shove those numbers together. After all it is addition, right? Nothing tough like division, in case you are slow here's the basic equation.

1 + 1 = 11

Recently within the new century, scientists believe they have found a new answer to the age old 1+1. Scientists had been researching many math equations & urban legends since 2000, & the info was released late 2007. It was revealed that the answer just might be 1+1= >O (or fish)
