[edit] Chemical Makeup and Origins

6000 sided dice are a special sort of dice formed from unstable, and therefore highly dangerous, home metal from the planet Thanagar. This metal can be drilled and cultivated from a downed Thanagarian ship in the mountains of Transylvania.

[edit] Characteristics

Due to the unstable characteristics of unrefined nT metal, 6000 sided dice have the ability to explode with the force of up to a thousand suns at any time. It is believed that the force of the explosion can be represented as math, where math is the age of the roleplayer, math is the highest HP of their most powerful character, and math is the number of years they have been playing roleplaying games.

[edit] Probability

There are certain factors that can influence the probability of a 6000 sided dice detonation. If the roleplay is taking place in a basement, the probability is doubled. If the basement is owned by one of the roleplayer's parents, then the probability is quadrupled. On top of that, the probablility becomes higher and higher as the game goes on.

[edit] Defenses

There is nothing you can do to defend yourself from a 6000 sided dice. There are no preventative measures whatsoever. If you roleplay with one, you're playing russian roulette.

[edit] Myths

There is a myth that any guy with a girlfriend is completely immune to its effects. This has never been tested, as any guy with a girlfriend has no reason to roleplay.

Austrian Scientologists have set up a study to attempt to prove this theory. You can sign up here. Or possibly there.

It is also a myth that a 6000-sided die is unreadable and therefore unusable. Such suggestions are to be scoffed at - After all, everybody simply cheats.
