Alfred Russel Wallace
From Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia.
Alfred Russel Wallace is often fallaciously cited as the man who finally pushed Charles Darwin into to publishing the Origin of Species in 1859. In fact, Wallace was, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the earliest members of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Some people have claimed, incorrectly, that Darwin was himself a member of the Church of the FSM. In reality he wasn’t allowed to join the group because he exceeded the beard length restriction for the group (Wallace was close too).
[edit] The Problem
Angry at not being able to join, Darwin published the Origin of Species to try and make people believe in his ridiculous theory of evolution by natural selection. Isaac Newton worked with Wallace in attempt to kill Darwin to make sure his “dangerous idea” never came to the public’s attention.
[edit] The Summary
In recent times the stupid theory has been question by various people. The two main runners today are: Intelligent Design and, of course, creation by the Flying Spaghetti Monster. It is a great tragedy that the theory of creation by the FSM is not being taught in schools. This may well change soon.
