Antipsychotic
From Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia.
Antipsychotic, pronounced anti-psi-co-tick, was a specially trained insect which appeared in a number of Alfred Hitchcock horror movies. The director cleverly realised that in order to obtain realistic facial expressions in his characters, they needed to become really terrified. He therefore started breeding tics - large blood-sucking insects that embed themselves in animal fur and can only be removed with the lighted end of a cigarette.
Antipsychotic, whose identity and trainer's name never appeared in Hitchcock's film credits, was trained to crawl up inside an actor's clothing and attach itself to an intimate part of their body. Hitchcock would arrive on set, hold up an empty glass box, and announce that Antipsychotic had escaped. His cameraman would then pan his camera around the studio, picking up the horrified looks of the cast upon hearing this news. These shots were later interspersed throughout Hitchcock's movies, making his films the most scary ever produced.
When Antipsychotic was eventually found, often by an actor in the dressing room after filming had finished for the day, the blood-curdling screams that resulted were picked up by specially installed microphones, and these recordings were also used in the film production process.
Antipsychotic's appearances in Hitchcock fims are often mistaken for damage to the film acetate, but look closely and you can usually make out the movement of this heroic insect as it crawls inside a dress or up the leg of someone's pants.

[edit] Antipsychotic Film Appearances
Antipsycotics are rarely actually captured in film, even though they work in the film industry so often. However, there have been Antipsycotic actors who have been more or less famous.
One example of a famous Antipsycotic actor was Charlie "The Tic" Chaplin. He had been a silent movie star and was referred to by some as a comedic genious. Unfortunately, he met his end at the hands of and Insectophobic smoker, who just loved stabbing things with lit cigarettes.
