Australian soap opera
From Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia.
The Australian Soap Opera is a long-running political debate over the exact properties required in a soap before it can be sold to the public in Australia. Sub-standard soaps caused a massive increase in skin inflammations in the late 1990s, and scientific progress is constantly pushing the limits of soap technology.
Australian Soap is sold world-wide due to it's calming and addictive nature, and any questions over the safety of this soap pose serious problems for the Australian economy. Around half of all Australians are employed in soap-manufactuary, making it by far that nation's largest industry. All exports are tested to strict standards and transported in large air-tight containers to maintain freshness.
Soap remains a hot political topic for most Australians, who resist any moves to restrict production.
Australian soap opera should not be confused with Austrian soap opera, which is the best in the world.
