[edit] History
Aytee's was first diagnosed in 1689 by Sir Francis Aytee, who noticed it primarily amongst upper-class Vienna, who displayed mild to downright flamboyant symptoms. Needless to say, the disease is named after its discoverer.
[edit] Plague
However, it was in 1983 that Aytee's became a national health crisis. Aytee's, normally thought to be a degenerative condition, was found to be highly contagious, and spread like wildfire throughout the youth of contemperary America. It was not until 1991 that it was under control.
[edit] Symptoms
The usual symptoms are as follows:
- Colorblindness.
- Lack of the sense of taste (tastebudosis).
- Tightness of the jeans.
- Aversion to darkness.
- Thick, goopy substance formed at the scalp.
They usually present themselves within a one week period, followed by intense impulses of shopping and a fiery thirst to hug men.
[edit] Diagnosis
Aytee's can, in most cases, be diagnosed with a quick visit to the potential sufferer's wardrobe to test for signs. Pastel colors, legwarmers, suspenders, and big hats are sure signs of Aytee's. Keep in mind that it is not yet known what the cause of Aytee's is, but although temporary treatment is available, the only surefire way to rid yourself of the disease is to let it run it's course.
