Bornholm is a swedish island located in the middle of The Baltic Sea. Originally culturally divided between Denmark and The Soviet Union, the people of Bornholm held a referendum in 1928 to determine which nation to annex into. The referendum turned out to be a tie and due to the inaccuracy of it, it was ruled by the Supreme Court of Bornholm that the island was to be annexed into Sweden.

This decision remains controversial today, but so far the swedish government has refused to issue a new referendum.

[edit] Churches on Bornholm

Bornholm is particularly famous for its many churches built in the medieval times, a period in which Bornholm was a satanic nation. The swedish government, being an islamic rule, immediately ordered the churches to be rebuilt into mosques after the annexation. Many rebellions have taken place since then in protest of the islamic rule, but so far the local authories have successfully suppressed all of them.

Bornholm is a sought tourist attraction, as it's the only island in the world to offer a completely flat terrain, with it's highest peak being only four meters above ocean surface. Rocks are very rare on this isle and because of this, all roads and buildings are constructed of wood. The unusually low level altitude of the isle, has made Bornholm vulnerable to floods and the island has been severely hit twice in recent history because of this.

The greatest export goods of Bornholm are candy, corn, rocks and Chinese litterature, which are present in abundance on the island. Rocks are gained from the island itself, which explains why it from 2009 will be known as "Atlantis 2 - the island formerly known as Bornholm". Another qualitly trade made by Bornholm is to New Zealand where they trade pigs for students known as "The Pigs for Student Exchange" note: at the present time New Zealand is only sending students who look like pigs to the island, they just don't get the trade- off

In 1900 the satanic church of Bornholm launched a giant project called, “codename Lucifer”. The plan was to dig down, very deep down, all the way down to hell to release Lucifer, so he could take over the whole world. After setting up a huge drilling machine called, “little Lucifer” they started drilling, and after only 10 days they reached 20 kilometers. Unfortunately the church ran out of money (partially because of the project, but the main reason was the high priest’s shoe shopping) and the project was put on a hold. But in 1925 the church, started the project again. This time they got down to 300 kilometers, the calculated dept of hell, here they found nothing except rocks. This was a massive blow for the church, the project was the largest the churched had ever launched, and if this project was not successful the Church would loose respect. This the Church wouldn’t allow. So a new huge project began to impose a news black out on everything concerning codename Lucifer. This project was very succesfull and therefore nobody on Bornholm knows anything about Codename Lucifer today.
