CSI: Balamory

This is a rather interesting show about the crime scene investigators in Balamory. It's made by the standard CSI:* theme, with it's own personal touch.

[edit] Episodes: (Series One)
In the first episode Archie is found dead with a Parisian baguette down his throat. They first suspect Spencer for doing the dirty deed, until they find out Spencer is allergic to white flour. So he could never have handled a baguette like that!
Among the leads, they find a bloody tennis raquet covered in syrup.
In the second episode it is discovered that it was infact Penny Rocket, who killed Archie because he stopped eatting in her cafe and went to McDonalds.
In the second episode Josie Jump is suspected of murdering Edie McCredie. However when she is killed by a run away shopping trolley Miss Hoolie and PC Plum must try and link the events. Meanwhile Archie (who randomly comes back to life because of limited actors who are willing to be on the show) inventors a better programme. Penny Rocket must convince the viewers to return in 25 hours or the show will be cancelled.
The series finishes in episode three when it is discovered that the Pope killed Edie McCredie. Miss Hoolie and PC Plum get married and Miss Hoolie has an affair with Spencer and Archie gets murdered (again) by an unknown object.
The next series is going to air in May. Sources have told us that The Red House is going to be painted grey - but who did it?
[edit] Spin offs
There have been many spin offs of CSI balamory one of the lesser short lived films was "nightmare on balamory". In June a new spin-off series, 'A touch of Miss Hoolie' is meant to air. Also at Christmas 'Balamory: How do they write this shit?' will air as a special behind the screens look at the show and to celebrate the new Mrs. Hoodie: Ann Robinson!
[edit] The Second Hoolie
After the second series the current Mrs. Hoolie: Miss. Hoolie says she is unwilling to return to either series as she will be starting in other TV programmes (like that will happen). Ann Robinson is to replace her as the new Doctor Hoolie. As the new Doctor Hoolie Ann Robinson will take a scary new approach to this scottish show.
Other Facts: Oddly enough, "Balamory" is another word for spam. Spam in this case is not a luncheon food made of hog genitals, but the practice of posting on the Intarweb for the sole purpose of advertising something....even something droolingly inane as a TV show. ;)
