There is big reference library. In this library are many volumes. Every volume has an index. Some indices list the index itself in the index for the sake of completeness. Some do not, because what kind of idiot would look in the index to find out where the index is? There is also a volume containing a list of all the books whose indices do not list themselves in themselves. This volume also has an index. These are all the things not listed in said index.
