This is a collection of several events in the show. It doesn't include everything, just more obvious ones. A complete list of even just Ash as Goliath would be long enough to crash the internet.

| 1/1 | Ash falls and hits his head, twice. |
| 1/3 | Misty hits Ash with a stick trying to swat a bug. |
| 1/17 | A little kid hits Ash in the face with a ball on 'Children's Day.' |
| 1/56 | Ash trains for the Elite 4 by carrying buckets of water. At the end of the day he has large muscles for a few minutes, and appears taller than Brock. |
| 1/71 | Ash beats a midget in a battle. Pikachu saves the day, just barely. Debris flys during the battle, and Ash gets hit by some of it. |
| 5/18 | Ash gets hit in the forehead by a rock. |
| 7/25 | May makes fun of Ash's 'manliness,' and Ash comically grows massive muscles for a short time. |

| 1/16 | Misty swims in a pond. |
| 1/19 | Misty nearly drowns from a giant Tentacruel. |
| 1/35 | Most of the episode is based on setting up camp, and Misty orders around Ash on how best to furnish it. Then they confront Team Rocket. |
| 1/43 | Misty swims to the surface of the ocean after a cruise ship sinks. |
| 3/42 | Misty forces Ash to carry a large rock for about a minute. |
| 5/27 | Misty nearly drowns in a gym battle, but Gyrados saves her. |

| 1/4 | Brock serves a meal of fruit to his siblings. |
| 1/28 | Someone gives Brock a pokémon as a gift. He befriends it. |
| 2/18 | Brock picks pink berries illegally. His pokémon turn pink as punishment. |
| 5/39 | Brock gets hit hard in the ribs and the wind is knocked out of him when Team Rocket attacks. Adam loses a rib in the bible. |
| 9/56 | Brock gets sick after eating a round, red fruit, and forfeits a championship battle. |

| 4/15 | Max leaves a restaurant after confronting a boy that insults him. |
| 6/18-47 | Brock revisits the islands from season 2, and Max is put in charge of food. The party isn't shown eating until Brock returns. |
| 7/14 | A branch is wrapped around Max's head at a festival. It looks sharp. |
| 7/27 | Some cultists wearing Vulpix hats surround Max and begin worshipping him, and ask him for advice. |
| 8/14 | Max and Ash disagree on how to fight a gym battle. Brock's plan works. |
| 9/85 | Max gets crucified. |

| 10/1 | Dawn grabs Pikachu and starts adventuring without its consent. |
| 10/2 | Dawn orders her Piplup into battle, even though it is wounded. It then faints from her demands. |
| 10/7 | Flames erupt around Dawn for comic effect when she gets mad at Ash |
| 10/28 | Flames erupt from her eyes, and Ash turns black and 'ashy' from her death gaze. |
| 10/42 | The party dresses up as pokémon for a celebration. Dawn dresses up as a charizard, and spins around in excitement. If paused at the correct time, Dawn seems to have 7 heads, referencing to a 7-headed dragon that Satan appears as in the Bible at several spots. |
| 10/66 | Dawn participates in a pokémon contest, dressed up in a red dress. She borrows Ash's Chimchar (A fire pokémon) and it uses a fire attack that surrounds Dawn in a ball of fire. Dawn laughs and emerges from the flames unhurt. |

These happen in a split second, not even long enough to be seen. But the brain picks them up and remembers them.

| 1/41 | Ash falls into a river, and for exactly .07 seconds, the water around Ash looks purple. Ash turned it to wine. |
| 1/43 | A bird pokemon carrying an olive branch leads Ash to an island, similar to Noah's tale. |
| 1/85 | A sign advertising Ash's victory in the championships fades to 'Bong Hits 4 Jesus' for .0198 seconds. |
| 1/Christmas | On the Christmas special, Santa isn't the reference. Rather, a jynx parts the waters of the Artic Sea 23.55 minutes in. |
| Movie 1 | Mewtwo goes to Heaven at the end. |
| 2/1 | Ash walks on water before falling in. |
| 2/85 | Ash walks into a sunset that represents the closing of his adventure and the start of a new one. As he walks into it, he flies off into the sky. |
| 4/85 | Misty gets a bike, and for .05 seconds, it turns into a donkey |
| 9/85 | Max is crucified, although this isn't aired in the US version. |
| 10/6 | Dawn turns into the Mona Lisa, a reference to The DaVinci Code. |
