Clowns Over Troubled Water was a famous 1970 album by Simon and Garfunkel. It was their fifth and final studio album.

Many despised the duo's decision to turn Clown. Simon was once quoted as saying, "All Garfunkel and I wanted to do was clown around. We wanted to make something different." Garfunkel said little on the subject.
