Del
From Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia.
Del, is a key found on the Dvorak keyboard's number pad. It serves no purpose. It was originally created during a manufacturing accident at a Dell keyboard manufacturing facility in Thailand. 63 workers died in the accident, and on nearly 50,000 keyboards the second l in Dell was left off of the company's logo, placed carefully below the . symbol on the number pad. Most users found the misprint helped humanize the robotic company and so to this day Dell has continued to print their keyboards with the missing 'l' and kill 63 of their lowest performing workers for every 50,000 keyboards manufactured. This ruthless cost cutting and willingess to do whatever it takes to reach six-sigma manufacturing processes has resulted in the most efficient keyboard manufacturing process in the world. All computer keyboards are now manufactured by Dell.
