Dragon Warrior is the tale of a young man who is given a choice in life: either to fulfill his dream and beat the dragon, or to not. The game chronicles this tale of decision-making with fast-paced walking action and cinematic walking cutscenes.

The choices given to you are numerous, including walking into and/or out of house* and walking up to or away from people. The all-encompassing "walk" engine of this game is heralded by fans and critics alike as a sight to behold.

  • The "exit building" function requires a software upgrade.

[edit] Gameplay mechanics

The main character, whose name is almost certainly Jason, is equipped with several abilities besides walking. At the mere push of a button, he can actually gain the attention of people, who are then manipulated into saying something to him. This is because they are afraid that Justin will mistake them for the dragon, who is popularly believed to be a deaf-mute.

[edit] Storyline

Jakob was a simple begger child in the mean streets Darktown, when a shadow was cast upon the land. Darktown soon became the realm of evil, and Jeremy barely managed to flee from his hometown in order to spare his life.

Seeking revenge on the dragon that almost certainly caused such a thing to happen, he soon sets out on a quest to kill it. However, he quickly loses his memory and is forced to destroy a town of elves in order to get their crystal, which he takes back to a corrupt king that sentences him to death. All hope seems lost until he escapes from the prison cell and destroys a giant monster that's guarding the area.

He then sets out on his journey, but he tries to overcome his dark and corrupt past by building a new town, which is wracked by tornadoes, undoubtedly caused by the dragon that Jonas intends to find.

Setting out once again on his journey, Johnson is horrified to realize that he left his weapons and equipment back at his house.

Then he realizes that his actions are not his own, but indeed those of a sadistic puppet master who controls everything he says and does.

So, the question arises: will Jim fulfill his destiny and defeat the dragon? Or will he defy his own fate and do NOTHING? The answer is neither, as his boat springs a leak and the mutinous crew steals all the lifeboats for themselves, leaving Jerimiah to drown a well-deserved death.
