Dutch-Frisian war

The Dutch-Frisian war is a war well known in the North of the Netherlands. It all started in August 1927 when the Frisians called the province a country and were sick of how their Frisian cows were uglier than the Groninger and Drentse cows, so they tried to steal some of them to interbreed them. The Dutch took it as a sign of Cow Racial degradation and declared war on the new Country of Frisia.

[edit] The Groninger invasion

The wall consisting of solid water and soap surrounding Friesland, built in 1028, was slowly breaking down. At a distance of 100 meters they fierljept a fugly cow against it so the wall broke. In protection suits made of sails, they crossed the wall one by one. The Frisians leader Jelle took the fugliest cow he had, and rode with it to Groningen. He swapped his fugly cow with the beautiful cow of Mr. Boer. Mr. Boer grabbed a fork, and stabbed it in the stomach of Jelle, who said the famous words of: "Uuze kei sjun der net uut, ik wol die van dij he." Jelle died, to the sorrow of many men and women. The death of Jelle made the Frisians mad, and they attacked Groningen. Mr. Boer felt sorry for Jelle, and raised his fugly cow with all the love he had.

Meanwhile the Frisians used their fierljepsticks to poke the Groningers to death. The Groningers threw with water and soap, hoping that the frisians would melt. This caused many and many deaths within Neverland. After 2 years of beer and bloodshed over Jelle, there was a truce. The Frisians and Groningers returned to their homes and lived further on. They hated each other, but were too lazy and too worried about their farmland to continue fighting.

Just before the truce, Groningers and Frisians illegally traded food with each other. When they returned to their homes a new age of food knowledge was spread. Groningers brought suikerbrood (sugar bread) and Frisians brought Groninger worst (Groninger sausage) home. Because of the hatred towards each other they claimed it as theirs. The economy of Friesland grew high within their country, but Groningen expanded their markets to all the provinces.

Groningen developed their status within Neverland, as Frisians stayed behind. Groninger markets spread rumours about Frisians, making the other provinces dislike Frisians. Friesland drifted further away from the society. The high educated people refused to teach Frisians, Which forced the Frisians to home school their children. Which of course, as every other home schooled child, had a wrong idea of the world. These children changed the relationship with the rest of Neverland forever. They had become the stereotype Frisians, making them dumb and unknowing. However, there were a few kids that were raised properly.

Wietse was the son of Jelle. He was to become the leader of the Frisians when he grew up. He was born in March 1919, being a strong blonde son of a great father. Wietse grew up as a smart boy with strong ideas of right and wrong.

Anna was a girl who was born in November 1920 on a farm. She grew up between the cows and the country life. She was a pretty girl, with long light blonde hair. Her family lived near the Frisian border.

When Jelle broke down the wall in 1927, Wietse went with him and explored the surroundings. He met Anna there, and thought she was a Swedish nymph. She looked at him and asked him to come to her. He was scared of her and ran back to Friesland.

When Wietse heard his father had died, he went to visit Mr. Boer for the body. Mr. Boer took him in his care and raised him as his own son. He left the house when he was 15. On March 7th when he turned 17, he met Anna again. He immediately fell in love with her, but their love was forbidden. He was a Frisian, and she was a Groninger. He asked her to come with him to Friesland so they could love each other. But her father (Koen) told her that if she would go with him he would kill him, her children and ban her from the land, so she declined the offer. a year of sorrow went by and Anna became depressed.

She fled away from Groningen and went to live with Wietse to continue their love. When their first son Jesse, prince of Friesland, was born, she informed her father and mother. Her father declared war to the Frisians, and the war continued after a truce of 9 years. After three months of fighting, Koen found his way to Sneek and saw his grandson. Jesse was so cute, that he had to shed a tear. With a disgraceful feeling he burned himself alive.

Jesse became the new improved race. The new Frisian-Groninger race which has beautiful bright blond hair of a Swedish nymph, and blue crystal eyes. To these provinces, he became the symbol of brotherhood.

Until this day Frisians and Groningers continue to hate each other, but when they see a Frisian-Groninger they are reminded of how 2 people can work together. Even though one of them is half-boar.
