Dylan Moron (born November 3, 1971 in Navan, County Meath, Ireland) is an Irish comedian with floppy hair. He started writing jokes in 1992 and has used the same ones ever since. No-one has noticed this though, as each time he adds more "fucks" and acts more drunk. Since "Fuck" is the funniest word ever; this coupled with the quintessential Irish drunkenness makes people laugh so much that they don't notice the actual joke content (AJC) is the same as the last 35 times they saw him.
[edit] Career
Dylan did not win the Perrier Comedy Award in 1996 for being a drunken Irishman with floppy hair that swears and smokes.
Together with the beard Bill Bailey, he starred in the TV sitcom Black Books in which he played bookshop owner Bernard Black, who was a drunken Irishman with floppy hair that swears and smokes. He also hates selling books, thus creating a financial irony that was exacerbated by Bill Bailey's character's enthusiasm to sell books, thus creating discord between the two main characters. Laugh? I nearly pissed myself.
However, his first acting role came later with Shaun of the Dead, in which he didn't play a drunken Irishman with floppy hair that swears and smokes and was killed by zombies. It is not clear whether he has learnt his lesson from this.
Dylan is adamant not to be type cast and that actual he really can diversify. Therefore, he is currently in filming for a brand new BBC drama where he plays an Irishman with floppy hair that swears and smokes but runs a local AA group.
Dylan, after being cast in his chosen role in Black Books (having come through a careful selection process in which few people managed to match up to his standards of drunkenness and smokerness with floppy hair) partook in a memorable episode in which his hair was hacked off with a bread knife in order to be grafted onto Bill Bailey's chin. A general outcry arose, as it was widely believed there were far too many people in the world who had contributed to said beard, so by the next episode the procedure had been reversed.
Dylan Moran could be considered by some to be sexually attractive, however, others believe him to have a life outside his body, rendering this view illegitimate. In 'Monster' he reminds us we like what is bad for us, so analysts such as I presume this means that by 2070 natural selection will dictate the world will be full of really boring people.
[edit] Alien Abduction
On the 26th November 1991, Moran was abducted by aliens, but later returned back to earth, as he did not fit into any alien clothes. He described the aliens as "small" and "not very big."
