• A nickname simply referring to any "superior" form of shower.

• The name of a well known chain of upscale plumbing supply stores in California. Famous patrons include OJ Simpson, Michael Jackson, Elizabeth Taylor, and Governor Arnold Schwarzeneggar, who reputedly has been seen driving the streets of Sacramento at all hours looking for an available Golden Shower.

• A variety of chrysthanemum, yellow in colour with an ammoniacal aroma. Beloved of the Japanese.

• A popular roman-candle-based firework. It shoots out canary-coloured sparks that are actually safe if they come into contact with the skin. Witnesses report that the sensation is almost like that of rain. Has a quite acrid smell as it burns.

• A boastful Forty-Niner. Prospectors often revealed to stunned women the large nuggets that they had recently dug up and kept for safe keeping in their trousers. Part of the surprise was due to the smell of unwashed body mixed with stale urine.
• It makes for squeaky clean people that will shine forever.
