Edmund Roarke Gospel was born in Portugal, but spent his whole life in Oregon in the XIXth century, even though that may seem quite unimportant. His work and life were to be immortalized by American poet Edgar Allan Poe, but actually wasn't for some unknown, very obscure reason that can only be explained by the poet own words "I decide not to do it nevermore".
C'mon, he had to be here
C'mon, he had to be here

So the stubbornness of Poe made Gospel an obscure celebrity in that period. God, in his very popular TV talk show, often talks about his old relationship with Gospel and his weird attitude towards birds, but for some another unknown reason the Almighty One never explains the whereabouts of E. R. Gospel. So we are left with no real, verifiable evidence of his existence, which is a shame, really. What is suspected is that he documented the birth of Jesus and later fought Mega Man.
