Grue Language is only spoken after something is eaten by a Grue. The Grues will communicate their food to other Grues. This is known as "Grue-some". The Language of the Grues is very hard to understand, as it is spoken quickly and has only 18 letters. Grues also have very thick accents.

"A Grue! RUN!!!!!"

[edit] Grue Communication through Time

Since 6000BC, Grues have communicated through The Grue Language (better known as Ik-Ta or Ta-Ta, not to be confused for Ta-Ik or Ik-Ik). It was used to tell Grues of feasts and potential creatures like Dr Phil that we all want to get rid of.

[edit] How can I learn Ik-Ta (Grue Language)?

Consult a Grue, but be careful, it will only tell you how to learn Grue after it eats you.

[edit] Alphabet of Grue

The Alphabet is difficult to learn. Remember to notice the difference between the 2 F characters, as well as +Q and -Q, which have opposite meanings.

  • V ik-ik
  • # ik-klik
  • C kun-klik
  • D tak-ta-ik
  • F ta
  • F tak (not to be confused with "ta"!)
  • G tek-tak ik
  • H klik-klik tak-ta
  • I tak-ik
  • % tak-ek
  • K tak-ik-e
  • L kik-ik-tak
  • M emm (not to be confused with em)
  • m em
  • O tak-ik-ik-ik-ik-ik-ik-ik
  • +Q ik
  • -Q ki
  • @@ tak-pik-tak-tak (the only "p" in Grue Language)
  • NOTE - All letters that have 2 words in them (like tek-tak ik) are encased in brackets, like [tek-tak ik].

[edit] Punctuation

  • Sentences - Start with ' , end with , .
  • Exclaimations - Start with !, end with @. You cannot use 2 @s here, as it will be confused with tak-pik-tak-tak.
  • Questions - Questions are hardly ever used in Grue Language, but when they are, they start with '? and end with ?,

[edit] Some common phrases

  • My name is <name> - 'tak-ta-ik->[tek-tak ik] emm tak-ik-ik-ik-ik-ik-ik-ik->ik <name>, (spelled DG M O+Q <name>). When two letters are used in a word, they are joined by a -> symbol.
  • I ate a <meal> - 'kik-ik-tak->kik-ik-tak->kik-ik-tak tak-pik-tak-tak <meal>, (spelled LLL @@ <meal>).
