The iPod slim is the new iPod from Apple, that with its cool slogan "Slim as Paper, iPod slim" plans to cover the Nano's market. Apple, making a big effort reducing costs on the "iPod city", published Slim's price as $399,99 for a cutting sheet with 4 iPod Slims.

"Slim as paper" was the slogan that Apple used to promote this iPod, and they didn't lie: iPod Slim's are made of paper!
Interface doesn't differ with its predecessor. It has a click wheel and the screen has the same size. The absence of ports made its objective market feel disoriented about the product, even though, time made that everyone got used to stuck cables using the "iDuctTape" (Sold separately)
iPod Slim has a color screen, that uses a new patented technology made by Apple where images are projected using color pencils and an eraser.

iPod slim doesn't have a headphone input or Usb port (Dock connector). The click wheel doesn't work. Apple had a problem on this that was later fixed by inventing iDuctTape to attach them quickly.
It has capability for 500 songs on its economic edition, and 1000 on its expensive one.
Hacks are known to be made that can expand this by attaching more paper next to it.
Comes pre-loaded with 30 different rustling sounds.
Can be used to start a fire if ever stranded in the middle of the forrest.
[edit] Malfunctions and Breakages
Ipod slim is well known to have on of the largest amounts of breakage out of all in the Ipod range.
The reasons for this often include scrunching the slim into a little ball and using it as a football, eating the slim and of course inhaling the slim or "accidental eating".
Other less common reasons include those who have rolled the slim and then smoked it. In addition to this there have also been a few cases where the owner has used the slim as a teabag.
Some of the Ipod Slims have been found to contain malfunctions. Such malfunctions include: cut corners, made with tissue paper and on the odd occasion Classical music instead of the smooth rustling sounds.
Apple takes full responsibility for these problems and in return will send you a piece of fresh fruit delivered directly to your door. The fruits range from apple to banana to watermelon.
