Marcon is a Science Fiction Convention and breeding opportunity that happens annually in Columbus, Ohio. The Convention is named Marcon I, or Marcon II, or Marcon WhateverTheNumberYearWe'veGottenTogether. Notable guests at Marcon include Nichelle Nichols and the Cylons (the original Cylons, mind you) who rocket in from outer space to sign autographs.

Marcon is also notable for the attendants' periodic construction of a spacefaring vessel, the Space Marcon and Marcon. The SM&M, as to which it is colloquially referred, is an incredibly unlikely construction. The Marfans, as the MARcon FANsciencefictionconventionattendants are commonly named, have a lengthy ritual for the construction of this entirely unlikely and unnecessary construction effort, the SM&BDSM, also known as the Manual of Style. Let's break it down to bullet points for those of us with completely or partially full bladders, or who might just want to sneak out the door early to attend a certain strip club's grand opening.

Mmm, that Leona Helmsley, isn't she a hot pat of butter or what?

In any case, bullet points:

Process of construction, The good ship SS.M&MS (while a completely and utterly useless creation, we of Marconfancondom love it so)

-Harvesting of the commas. These commas, picked fresh off the unnecessary modifier, will serve as a delicious garnish (Relish? Garnish.) that we will all relish in our fandom salads (Salsa? Salmons.), available now! at Ruby Tuesdays (Friday's? Applebees. Bennigans? Shenanigans? Hooligans.(Ruffians? Miscre%^%@13#^$3@#$*^&^NO CARRIER

-Harvesting of the commas. These commas are not a product of Costa Rica, no matter how hard you plagiarize.

-Gentle harvesting (like they do with cherries so they don't bruise, becoming distasteful to the eye, an eyesore even)

-Combine harvester

-On the good ship Lollipop

-Hyphens are carefully removed from compound modifiers that were likely unnecessary anyway. Many compound modifiers died to bring us this wealth, nay, this veritable trove of hyphens.

AND THUS, the grandeur of the grand incomparable aggggh there's a joke in here somewhere heeeeellllllp
