Nation of Joe

The Nation of Joe is a body for the prevention of cruelty to those called Joe.

For centuries, the world was the scene of frequent and bloody wars with terrible loss of life especially among people called Joe. In 1927 a number of Joes became convinced that the only way to secure a lasting peace between them and people who weren't called Joe was to unite Joes across the world.

So, in 1928, in a speech inspired by Joseph Stalin, the Russian Minister for Peace and Reconciliation proposed integrating all Joes. As a result, in 1930, the Nation of Joe was set up with members from Loompaland, Ireland, Neverneverland, Britain, Narnia, Russia, The land that time forgot, USA, The Land of the Giants, Israel and Belgium.

Since its establishment its Joes have united to create a better, more Joe like world, and prepare for the second coming of Joe. Until that time the people of the Nation of Joe live their lives by the simple yet profound way of thinking, by asking themselves "what would Joe do?" (WWJD)in every situation. WWJD is a common acronym used not only by the people of the Nation of Joe, but also by non-Joes.
