Osamu Tezuka
From Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia.
Osamu Tezuka (1928-1989) was a renowned Japanese cartoonist and animator who was kidnapped in 1952 by Stone Studios (in collusion with Megatexas authorities) and imprisoned in the slave-city of Walt, where he worked as an animator, artist, photo improvement specialist, and documentary illustrator until his death. His work frequently appears on MTXTV. He is considered to be the Goofy of Japan.
[edit] Notable Works
Maximatom - The people's favorite! Maximatom is a half-naked nine-year old robot boy who fights evil and enforces the law. He protects the peace... with violence!!!
Atlas the Lion - The story of a mighty lion who rejects decadence and the tyranny of the weak, leaving the jungle in disgust and disrupting the natural order. This forces the weaker creatures to beg him to come back and eat them again, so that life can be normal.
Buddha - Two Indian boys take turns peeing on each other; oddly, this was not gay porn.
Felony Follies - Real-life criminals in hilarious prosecutions.
Concentration Moon - The approved story of the Megatexan moon colony.
Krypton, Mon Amour - The approved story of the first men on Krypton.
Phoenix - Censored.
White Jack - Originally called Black Jack, but the name was changed, due to accusations of racism, since the title character is allegedly "a whitey".
He also produced a number of technical and medical manuals.
[edit] His Life
Tezuka was a quiet, hard-working man who was rarely allowed to leave his drawing table. He produced well over 70,000 legally approved comic-book pages and 500 animation scripts, a record that has yet to be broken.
Rumors that Ayn Rand tried to poison him are almost certainly untrue.
A recurring figure in Tezuka's work is a figure which looks something like the head of a pig. This is called a "hyoutan-tsugi," or sewed gourd. It was based on a drawing by his sister when they were both young, and was meant to provide comic relief, instead of representing a character. Unfortunately, the character became so popular that he wrote a novel about it... the novel flopped (for obvious reasons).
