Plan 1 from Outer Space was the first plan put forward by the Chief Planners in the Galactic Planning Council.

[edit] Theory

The idea for Plan 1 was purely as a plan for other plans. Meaning that if you'd already planned something in your planner, the plan needed to be re-planned to fit with the plan in Plan 1 in accordance with the plan rather than an individual plan.

In other words, it was to give everyone a headache

[edit] What Went Wrong

Plan 1 went wrong for several reasons:

  • The Galactic Planning Council, who had made several plans before Plan 1 came to fruition, were thrown into disarray in order to fit with the rules in Plan 1
  • There was no point in having a plan for a plan, unless of course you work for Microsoft
  • The Plan was put into effect during lunchtime, when nobody gave a damn.

[edit] Plan 1A from Outer Space

Plan 1 came into effect only on the planets Earth and Venus, meaning that they weren't effected as much because they were lazy bastards with no sense of organisation anyway.

With this in mind, the Galactic Planning Council planned Plan 1A from Outer Space, this time meaning that if you'd already planned something, then the plan would need to be placed in a planner to remind you of the plan whilst it was in the planning stages.

Plan 1A was shut down ten minutes after it commenced.

[edit] Improvement

Plan 1 is used today only in the offices of Microsoft to strengthen it's power-base on planet Vogsphere. Anywhere else, it's seen as bureaucracy, a posh term for "waste of space".

An attempt to improve on Plan 1 came with the launch of Plan 2 from Outer Space, but had nothing to do with the new plan except that it was the first plan before Plan 2.
