Pocket pool

Pocket Pool is a handheld video game console that puts your avatar inside a virtual Swimming Pool. The game has virtually no point except to play Pool Games or to use your magical powers to enhance the pool games.

Pocket Pool was invented by angered people in Manchuria who wanted to play pool games in a swimming pool but the communist government said that Pools were not allowed. This of course lead to some developers in Estonia to think of a way to deliver Swimming Pool-like entertainment to communists living with no swimming pools at all. Eventually Pocket Pol was released in the 1950s as the first swimming pool simulator ever to be released in the world.

[edit] The Objective of Pocket Pool

Pocket pool is about your character going to a public swimming pool. You can customize your character from several tiger-handheld-quality avatars. Before you can start swimming, you have to enter the locker room and take your clothes off and put your swimsuit on. Then you have to shower so the shock doesn't kill you (Leading to an instant game over) when you jump into the cold water.

If you have just eaten from the pool's snack bar then you must wait 30 minutes before you enter the pool otherwise you get a game over.

Once you enter the pool itself you have the option to play many different pool games. These include:

• Volleyball
• Water Basektball (I have no idea how you do that)
• Shark attack (You get points for when you scare the kids)
• Kickboard races
• Random swimming
• Touch the drain (You get a game over if you get sucked down the drain)
• Kickboard beating
• Dunk the Dodo (Find the mutated children and dunk them. They'll run crying to their mothers.)
• Urinate in the pool.
• Dive into the diving pool (You get a game over if you dive into the wading pool)

You can also use your magical powers if you are playing as Polly Pocket to enhance the games to make them even a little fun

There are many parts where you can get a game over:

• Jump into the water without showering
• Jump into the water after eating
• Get sucked down the drain
• Drown
• Urinate in the pool
• Dive into the wading pool
• Get sued
• Blue Screen (This is a completely random event)
• Get yourself smacked unconscious with a kickboard
• Get shot
• Batteries run out
• Brain cancer from annoying beeps
• Spend so much time playing this game you die in real life.

A sequel to Pocket Pool called "Pocket Pool 2" is planned for the nintendo DS and Sony PSP. This offers a much more lifelike simulation of a day at the swimming pool. This version will also include large number of people in the outdoors pool if you are dumb enough to go there instead of a swimming leech pond.
