[edit] POP

Pop is a free-to-watch-but-you-wouldn't-really-want-to television channel in the UK, broadcasting cartoons and pop music videos. Its sister channel Rather Small Pop has similar content, Rather Small has similar ratings to Pop.[1], but is mostly watch by Rather Small Children, in their Rather Small Houses. Pop broadcasts on Sky Digital at channel 666 and is owned and operated by Small Migdets And a Crane. Before and after advertisements during pop music, the channel's mascots — two cartoon characters — talk for a little while, introducing competitions and showing viewers' 'artwork', (not really art, just some kids making non-sensicle doodles), and Growly being consumed by Rorry. The characters are a Grue called Rorry and his pet cat called Growly These character are quite popular with the children, especially Growly, which is surprising as it spends most of its time in Rorry's bowels. The grue was kicked out of the show early 2051, to be precise on pi day (3.1415/ 3.1415, not guite March the not quite 3rd)

Originally this channel was mainly a guy singing karaoke until February 2004 when he was fired because he just couldn't keep up with the children of today, and promptly replaced with what you see today . Then advertisement during programmes came at around January 2006, because they needed the beer money. Currently, the channel is slightly more cartoon based but still continues to show music videos. It is sometimes considered to be more popular with teenagers, and a fat 40 year old man called 'Bill' still living with his mother, due to most of the programs being from the 80's and 90's,

Before June 2003 when POP! was named Grues & Tunes, Music video were played along in some hours and then cartoons, mostly grue themed, would appear some hours without the programming time slot during the music videos were played and there are no advertisement appeared during the programming.

  • Archie's Weird Underpants- Show was cancelled soon after children actually found out what was actually in his underpants.
