Popul Vuh

The Popul Vuh is a sacred Mayan story of the creation of the universe. It is also the name of the brotherhood held with the responsibility of passing the great wisdom down through the ages via ambient music.

When God made the world, he was lonely, so he decided to occupy himself with arts and crafts, carving little wooden companions for himself. After a while, though, he got bored with them, so he decided to get them wet and see what happens, thus resulting in the creation of Sponge Bob Square Pants.

A little later, God decided to get into the culinary arts. His first test was to microwave some burritos, however, before testing out his first try, He found that this first attempt at cookery resulted in a man and woman, he decided, thus, that this was good for now he had finally had all that he ever wanted, and decided to split the rest with them.

Waxing hot by their iniquity, God sent loose the destroyer Klaus Kinski upon the Maya (who knew him by the name of “Aguirre”). Klause single-handedly defeated the entire Mayan civilization before going AWOL and starting a cult, after which Pizzaro was forced to find him and terminate his chain of command.
