Between World War One and the lynching of black people in the South, Prohibition was one of the highly productive and righteous moral crusades launched by the religious right to save America. In modern America, another group in favor of a new Prohibition is the Menopausal Alliance Doing Damage or MADD for short; however, MADD's goal for Prohibition is not out religious belief, but out of the menopausal organization's inherent hatred of freedom and liberty.

[edit] Eighteenth amendment

Between 1896 and 1920, the United States (One Nation, Under God) was subject to massive immigration of Irish peasants who fled their homeland during the potato whisky famine of 18whocares. Something had to be done. Most of the Irish were not wealthy, and it became increasingly clear that indeed, poor people in general were not wealthy. Worse yet, they liked to drink, a privilege the Christians understood, that like abortion, should only be afforded to the rich.

In 1919, the Eighteenth Amendment passed, which in a way, killed two stones with one bird: it banned alcohol for those dirty poor people, and it discouraged Irish immigration in a way that the discrimination and anti-Catholicism of Chicago's elite could never figure out how to do.

Like the war on drugs, prohibition completely ended the consumption of alcohol within the United States and Afghanistan. It was a time of great joy, economic stability, world peace and the sobering love and compassion of Jesus Christ, our lord.

[edit] America turns its back on God (again)

Unfortunately, the forces of evil were again mounting like the wrath of God will one day against the sinners and false worshippers of Canada. The eighteenth amendment was repealed in 1933, which clearly lead not only to Rock and/or Roll, but also recreational sex.

it seems that when the ebil people of irland learned of no beer in US 0f A, they revolted with the Anti-Anti Beer Legelization and Empathy for Evil Chicks of Holland (AABLEECH)

In recent times, the anti-democratic Menopausal Alliance Doing Damage has allied itself with the un-democratic religious right to get a new Prohibition; this is not surprising, because the Menopausal Alliance was allied with the British during the American Revolution, the Nazis during World War II, and the Soviets during the Cold War.
