Psycho is a 1998 film directed by Gus Van Sant and starring Vince Vaughn. It was remade in 1960 by Alfred Hitchcock.
Psycho is a very popular story in which tourists are usually the victims of shower attacks. While other horror film monsters kill their prey just anywhere, audiences subconsciously appreciated the cleanliness of the murderer by doing in the victim while in the tub because it's just easier to clean up the mess. And evidence.
Many people, everyday are really psychos. They are everywhere and try to kill people whenever they can, because they are psycho. The police have been somewhat successful in putting some of them away where they eventually make parole and are given measley jobs working as motel attendants.

[edit] Controversy
The movie was based on a disturbing series of murders by OJ Simpson and Michael Jackson during their 10 year gay marriage. The movie involved a brutal scene that was cut the second it was released to the public! The scene involved the killers' brutal death at the hands of Barney and the Teletubbies. This scene allegedly caused people to scream and vomit onto each other. It was banned in all countries except for North Korea for 45 years. However, several people, including Sephiroth, Majin Buu, and even Michael Moore spoke out to release it uncut in America. When they got their wish, a thousand people died when the pilot of a plane showing the movie was distracted by pure horror. They crashed into Mount Kilimanjaro.
[edit] Film Version Differences
The most significant difference between the two films is that Van Sant filmed his version in color while Hitchcock decided to film his remake in black and white. This came about when it was noticed that while humans reacted strongly to the movie, it largely unaffected cats or dogs who are both colorblind. After receiving a grant from the University of Mississippi in conjunction with the pet pharmaceutical giant Votoxalot, Hitchcock went about recreating the original on the very limited budget. Sadly he went midly overbudget and blew the money that was slated to pay the pet observers, so the study was not completed and is widely considered a failure. The movie didn't do half badly.
Other differences include:
- The hair stylists in the Van Sant version were paid considerably more than the ones in Hitchcock's version.
- The dangling body of a suicidal grip can be seen in the background of the car in the lake scene, Hitchcock attempted to recreate this detail in his remake but mistakenly strung up a gaffer instead.
- More audience pee breaks in Van Sant's version.
- Bonus Outtakes of Vaughn bitch slapping Van Sant not nearly as funny as later bonus outtakes of Hitchcock bitch slapping Van Sant (note: all bitch slapping consensual among all parties)
