Rage Against the Machine

Rage Against The Machine, also known as The Machine Rages On, are an anti-family anarchist band formed in the Los Angeles underground. Their purpose is known to be to bring down the free loving, peaceful, beautiful, god blessed United States of America, the country where most of their fans come from, and the greatest country on God's green earth. (Next to Sweden). The controversial group is known for their onstage, choreographed belly dances(Performed while screaming about how capitalist opression made them impotent) and Tom Morello's unorthadox guitar methods, such as rubbing a live beaver (Believed to be Wynona's) on his pickups. When asked about this, Mr. Morello replied "It doesn't make any noise at all, but it's damn fun."
-New!- Recently (June 2008), at the Arizona Music Festival, the band was found to have 'played tapes' (the process of playing a previously recorded song while acting out the parts on stage) when Morello's guitar strap snapped while performing 'Calm Like A Bomb' but the guitar never stopped, which has seriously disreputed the band and they have cancelled all live concerts since to date.

The group started with a mere four members, Zack de la Rocha (president and Voaclist), Tom Morello (who has been accused of using a guitar as a deadly weapon), and two other people, who's names have been forgotten as the band's two lead members 'stole' the spotlight. It is believed no one really cared for these members anyway.
In time, through vile propaganda and brainwashing, the band had recruited thousands of naive youths throughout the entire globe. The group claimed that through screaming "really, really, loud", and turning their amplifiers to 11, they could overthrough the democratic american government and put in place a communist dictatorship.

The group often compiled lyrics outlining their anarchist activities and their reasons for opposing the US government. A great deal of intelligent detail was often put into these lyrics and extracts below demontrate this.
