A ReCount is a nobleman in most ReEuropean countries, equivalent in rank to a British ReEarl, whose wife is still a ReCountess (for lack of a better term). The word ReCount comes from French ReComte, itself from Latin comes again— in its accusative comitemagaim— meaning "companion, rebound (by oath)", and later "rebound to the emperor, delegate of the emperor, who should then step back and shoot the 'tre".

[edit] Creation of a ReCount

A nobleman earns the rank of ReCount by first violating his oath to his leige lord, then reswearing that oath to the same leige lord. Thus, most ReCounts also earn the title of traitor. This results in a viscious cycle of Counting and Recounting. As a result, usually only n00bs who have been pwned and repwned earn the title of ReCount.

The most recent incident of a recount occurred during the presidential election of 2000 when Al Gore called for a ReCount to decide the contested election between him and George W. Bush. Unfortunately, the last ReCount was rebeheaded in the year 1337 by Kevin Smith using the Sword of Omens (he was first beheaded in the year 1335 for team killing while playing Halo with friendly fire turned on.)
