Rousay is an enigmatic, sacred isle, just north of the beshitten Orkney Islands. Its name is derived from the Norse 'Hrolf's Island', which literally mean 'the rope-bound finger'. The island has been inhabited since roughly 4,000 years b.c and has the largest collection of neolithic Deliverence paraphinalia known to man, which has earned it the nickname The Krabfaktory of the North

[edit] Culture

Rousay's culture is diverse. It is home to more than 16 different races and religeons, including The Bong-Tapp Faith, Islamic-Marxism and Dildoism. The people who originally inhabited the island 6000 years ago were Nordic settlers. They built numerous cairns - tombs for dead members of their tribes - some of the DNA samples from remains found in these indicate that the settlers had high concentrations of testosterone and N-alpha-dimethylphenethylamine, this indicates they were "Dizzy Dandruff-honking hard men". Use of Methylamphetamine is still hugly popular on the island today. Cultural Meth icon Jock T'Nyph is said to favour the island for his prophetic studies.

[edit] Modern Day

Contemporary Rousay is a pleasant place. 67% of its employment is in the tourist trade, 20% in drugs trafficking, and 13% misc. There is a local boat, operated by pedal-powered dynamos. This is the main justification for the heavy Meth intake of the islanders as energy is essential to the ferrymen. The two pubs on the island cover only 00.12% of the total ground area, but 71% of the population is there most hours of the day on average. Days on Rousay are 33 hours long in summer, due to its unique geography, this may explain the locomotion in pubs.
