[edit] "Some of my best friends are heterosexuals, but I respect their diversity" - Oscar Wilde
Politically correct, yes, and has obtained a deep meaning, as heterosexuals are rapidly becoming a minority.
As the phrase "Some of my best friends are..." has become a cliché signifying token politically-correct tolerance rather than acceptance, the same wording but with a majority group's name makes light of this.
Nonetheless, the city of San Francisco is considering importing one token heterosexual to serve as an unofficial mascot.
