The standard pitch for a game of bloodbath shall be a sphere 12,756,320 meters in diameter. Game play may occur only on the surface of the sphere and outside the sphere. Players may not deviate more than 200,000 meters from the surface of the sphere.

The pitch shall be divided into sea areas and land areas as set forth in the following diagram:

The Ground Council shall decide whether the pitch is suitable for play before a match. The Ground Council shall also determine urban, desert, jungle, and ice portions of the field. The Ground Council shall also determine appropriate boundaries of play. A report on suitability of the pitch shall be delivered to both teams at least 1 month before the inception of the match.
