Super Bowl
From Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia.
The Super Bowl is a sports competition taking place each January between two NFL teams and the Misfits. The Super bowl has been dominated since 1977 by the Cincinnati Bengals and since 1989 by the Misfits. Despite this, the NFL continues to be more profitable and well-known than the creators of horror punk.

[edit] History
The Super Bowl, before the creation of the Misfits in 1989 was an ordinary sports competition in which two teams each consisting of approximately 100 large sweaty men, would knock each other over, get back up, and repeat for four boring hours until one had arbitrarily been assigned the winner. In 1977 the first domination of the game started by the greatest football team to ever assemble, The Cincinnati Bengals. Their best victories for the Bengals came from the 1991-2003 season. The only time from 1977-1988 that the Bengals did not win was in 1985 when George "W" Bush won the Super Bowl and in 1987 when Bill "Hillary" Clinton won. In January of 1989, however, Glenn Danzig and Jerry Only decided that the competition needed a new touch, as it did not include horror punk rock. They showed up unannounced, and won the game. This is a tradition they have been continuing to this day, although not with the same lineup.
[edit] Controversy
Because the Misfits are a horror punk band, and not a sports team, some have questioned the validity of their success at the Super Bowl. After the band wrote and performed the song "Helena," named for one of their most vocal critics, which contains the lyrics "if I cut off your arms and I cut off your legs," any opposition to their slaughterous victory was instantly ceased.
[edit] Trivia
-New England choked in the 2008 Superbowl. -The Pittsburgh Steelers almost beat the Misfits in the 2005 super bowl by taking out Quarterback Richard Nixon knee, but failed as his knee was inpenitrable. -Nfl Europe's Arizona Cardinals and Detriot Lions trade off winning Europe's Super Bowl Every single year -The NFL has considered bringing These two into the NFL, however they have been revoked each time because they totally suck balls
