- For This article was on my shortlist for Best Article when I was a judge in the Poo Lit Surprise. From the notes I made then:
First impression: Dictionary lemma, on second thoughts with a twist of inversion included (the sane are inside the asylum) Originality: excellent Use of language: very good Use of images: to the point, though monotonous. They add to the atmosphere. Overall rating: 9 plus Comment: A third level of wordplay just struck me: asylum can also mean "shelter" or "place of refuge". This article disturbs me. What if the reversal is true ?
