Talk:Camille Paglia
From Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia.
Dude, this is hilarious. Whoever wrote it did a brilliant job. Obviously it is just a start, but a great start.
I wrote the main of this entry a while back. The inspiration was an interview she did with Charlie Rose. She kept telling him about how she 'came onto the scene.' At the same time, I was in a course covering Hegel; the professor of that course used the expression 'came onto the scene' when referring to something about the absolute. That's when I realized it's all true: Paglia's foghorn leghorn is a substitute for Kierkegaardian Paradox. [P.S. Whoever came up with 'Paglianated' gets my seal of approval.]
I did the part about the statue and the addition on WTF -- not great, but I think pretty funny.
The egos in academia are hilarious at times to watch. I spent three years in Princeton, and though I had my share of great professors, there were some others who were a piece of work.
