The page needs a lot of better material and it is not really that funny. I tried adding the part about being a Filipino 1.) Most Filipinos already have received that message so that belongs to everybody in my opinion. and 2.) I find the list "You know you are a Filipino when.." funny. I hope the article doesn't just 'hate' and be really witty and enjoyable to read. With that being said it really needs more work but a good start nonetheless. There used to be a hilarious article about the Philippines and it got deleted because smartasses like you decide to add a long and boring list! THis article doesnt need a major revision - I've heard that crap since 2006 in the article about the Philippines (to which I'M THE MAIN CONTRIBUTOR). I'm sick and tired of all of you self righteous asses giving a lecture to the contributors. Seriously dude, nobody cares.
I'm quite fair when someone adds something witty or hilarious in this article which I created. I let it stay because it deserves to be seen by others.

I've checked the once-posted list, and apparently, there's nothing really new about it. I think I've read too many articles (both online & textual) on such "standard" stereotypes, I think what this espankeh guy added was plagiarized from a book written by an American living here in the Philippines. Anyway, it's not that I'm saying that espankeh's jokes (then added, now deleted) aren't witty, it's just that they're too hackneyed or overused. In fact, most people don't think it's that funny anymore. I hope we can make "new" and "better" witty observations regarding this topic.
Oh. And yeah, the above comment is pretty much unnecessary. Do the contributors here have to post a huge disclaimer sign just for you guys to know what satire is? And just to clarify, don't take these things too seriously--i mean, c'mon,if somebody here's accusing that the contributors as well as the readers are all overactors, i find it nevertheless inadmissible that the way he/she pressed her comment was overly done as well. C'mon people, this is just satire, don't get your pants all riled up.
PS: I've added some stuff under the jologs heading, hope you guys like it. :D
PPS: I've been re-visiting this article for a couple of days now, and sadly some contributors keep adding unnecessary one-liners such as "PUTANG INA!" or "ITAKTAK MO!" at the end of some sentences. I've been editing these out. C'mon, it's not funny, and furthermore, please don't put your own reactions INSIDE the freakin' article.

- Do you know how to read? The signature above says Midwayhaven - and he's right, your addition is not funny. Try adding fresh stuff, the one you added has been seen in forwarded emails. We try to regulate the additions in the "filipino" articles (manila, imelda marcos, etc.) in order to avoid what happened to the "philippines" article. If we retain every "kris aquino" joke or "filipino trait" crap here, it will ruin the article and it will get VFD'd.
