Talk:Kevin Rudd

The thing about this is, there is so much real shit about Rudd to make fun of that I don't really think it's necessary to make stuff up. Cprhodesact 05:10, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] On the contrary...

Yeah but we'll leave that to the newspapers, uncyclopedia is all about making up crap.

Agreed--203.129.44.155 02:15, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Education Revolution?

Should we mention this popular tagline used by Mr. Rudd, but overemphasise the "revolution" part and have his face done up like that picture of Che Guevara to go along with it? That might be kind of funny. 121.223.28.136 08:33, 18 September 2007 (UTC) yeah why not?--Myron Mumbles 09:18, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Less is More

I know you guys are probably attached to the material here but it isn't really funny to just have phrases like: 'During a brief period of Kevin's carrer he also starred as Mario from Super Mario 64.' It doesn't add to the comic value of the article. Less is more, in this case. Would it be possible to cut back some of the more random interjections and include a broader satirical critique given that Rudd is now actually prime minister?

I agree some of the earlier edits (sorry I forgot to log in) were a bit hash, but the article needs some serious cutting back to pave the way for an even better version --Fincle 09:05, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

I totally agree. I maintain that the best way to do this article is via satire rather than silliness. It's about being funny and not just stupid. There are a lot of ways in which Rudd is almost a self-parody - the endless repetition, Ruddspeak, his media image...saying he's a vampire just isn't right. Everybody knows Philip Ruddock and Bronwyn Bishop are vampires. Cprhodesact 05:47, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
