[edit] From Pee Review
I did this a while ago, but while it more or less works as an article, it's still not that good/funny. Just wondering if anybody has any suggestions. --

- Not LOL, but a nice idea - David Gerard 12:18, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
- Indeed not LOL. I never heard of Ribena before this article. Is it fermentable, like Ovomaltine ? -- di Mario 23:00, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
I had no clue what it was either--so I added a Wikipedia link. After reading the WP article, it is somewhat funny. Goshzilla 03:16, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- I re-read it today and it actually somehow seems much more funny now. I took the liberty of adding one fun fact (the one about Dartmoor inmates selling fermented Ribena - feel free to enhance it). -- di Mario 10:06, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
- Yay :) Now I have to get on with that berry genocide.--

- Okay, berry genocide done, sorry that took such a stupidly long time. Thoughts? --

- Perhaps an UnNews article about a tank-wagon filled with Ribena crashing on the M1, wreaking absolute havoc during the evening rush-hour? Emergency services treat it as an environmental hazard, Special Forces Unit must first transfer the remaining Ribena to another tanker before work can start on the crashed truck. People being stuck in traffic jams for hours and hours. Ribena PR responding by distributing Ribena samples amongst the stricken wayfarers, and later having to send in mobile toilet units ... I'll see if I can start something. -- di Mario 13:09, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, couldn't help myself. Added a new paragraph about workers being payed OK in the "controversy" section. If it doesn't work for you, throw it out again. -- di Mario 15:45, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
- Yay :) Now I have to get on with that berry genocide.--
- Okay, here is an UnNews article: UnNews:Traffic_accident_strands_thousands_on_the_M1. It needs some work though. Probably, you may want to go over the argot (me being Dutch and all that) and the spelling (me being Dutch and al that). Also, I'm not very good at quoting people, so if you'd like to spice it up in that regard, feel free. And the image is of course a place-holder, maybe you could get someone else to find or create a suitable one. And the subscipt should be changed, of course. In short, should you decide to forego the publishing of said UnNews article as an addition to your own excellent artice on Ribena, I would be very understanding. -- di Mario 17:21, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
- The rest is history. User:Jobot37 beat us to it. He recorded my as-yet-unfinished harticle in Haudio Tones. An' he did a nice job too. Lay down the sword, the battle's done and over, turn my weary fea-eat home! There were times, when I stood upo here forlorn, only waiting for an answer... -- di Mario 00:59, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
- No wait! It isn't shown in the news items on the main page yet, so it hasn't been "published" properly. I did not add it to the list, and nor did I add the markup to the article source code that will automaginally publish it. So we (you) still have a chance to change it before it is released tot the general public. -- di Mario 13:11, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, no hurry. I am pleased that you take your education seriously, and I am sure that you will pass any exam with flying colours. You are one hell of a bright kid, kinda like I imagine my own daughter would have been if I would've had the foresight to start a family way back when I was offered the chance. *pinks away a tear*. Anyroads, don't mind this sentimental old Dutch fool, do your GCSE mocks wonderfully, and the Ribena stuff will still be there if and when you find time to get back to it. -- di Mario 18:11, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
