does anyone find the bible quote funny or is it just a smug atheist having a go at theists?
- I mean, it does feel kind of random. It looks like an atheist making a statement and putting Al Sharpton's name on it, the "joke" being that Sharpton is a black fellow affiliated with religion. We could put up other Biblical references in the Old Testament that clarify how slavery in those days was more similar to indentured servitude than it was to the racially-based life servitude system found in the antebellum South, but then it's not funny.
