| Concept: | 5 | Again, failing to be fully integrated into Israeli culture, I fail to see the point or over-riding principle of this article. I don't even now what a Yenta is! |
| Prose and Formatting: | 5 | It looks a bit nasty, to say the minimum, and could do with a cleanup. I do get the general feeling that there was a toddler with a bit of felt and non-toxic glue who stuck this all together. Tidying up the templates, images etc. wouldn't go amiss. |
| Images: | 5 | Simply put, one's funny, the other's not, hence the score. |
| Miscellaneous: | 7 | I don't like red links. A few SPG mistakes have been made. |
| Final Score: | 28 | Whilst not a shining beacon of the best content the creative mind-forges of uncyclopedia can create, it does have potential. The whole article needs a few under-the-hood (as the saying is, over the pond) tweaks, and a general spit and polish. It does some have some way to go, but don't make that stopping you from cleaning, expanding and improving! |

- Response Thank you for the time to review this. I'm somewhat perplexed though on several comments that you made leading to wonder why you selected this particular article. The template at the top of the article indicates that the article does have something to do with Judaism, not Isreali culture. So I suppose that there is a an unfamiliarity with Judiaism, where ever it my be. That leads to my second concern - how can one one review an article without knowing anything about it, in this case, what a Yenta is, or how one would compose a satire of Yenta's in general. What I am getting at, it would be like me reviewing an article on cricket, or Age of Umpires without knowing what the game (Cricket and the computer game Age of Empires) is about - how could I review it unless I knew something about the sport? And if I did attempt to review it, I would have to look up the game somewhere and become familiar with it. You also made the comment that one image is funny and the other one is not without explaining which one is, and why, and which one is not and why. To me, both have humor - one has the Yeti/Yenta thing working for it and the other is funny because if you know any older Jewish women, this is a facial expression that (while not an every day occurance) has crossed their faces. Perhaps I'm too Jewish and I knew what I was writing about. So again, I do appreciate the time that you took, but I felt to reply to the review. And I will make an effort to make the article better.
