The Budget
From Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia.
The Budget was invented in 1066 by Gordon Brown as an excuse to prance around Downing Street with an oversized red handbag; This however was outlawed so therefore he had to just hold it up in glee. The supposed idea of the budget was to inform the general public about how money will be spent, however this was proved false shortly afterwards when people actually bothered to read the thing (though it should be noted that they were most probably lying too anyway.)
[edit] What is in The Budget
It had been concluded that in each year of the budget the following is enclosed in it (at least most of the time).
- A copy of Wham's first album
- The words "don't Panic!" written somewhere (though it should be noted this has only happened recently due to the fact that the economy is in ruins)
- Jack Dee
- Outrageous promises that will be met through the use of magical crime fighting pixies.
- The number 42
- A life-sized cardboard cut-out of Oprah (which doubles as a device to block out the sun)
- ..And something about how money is going to be spent, but that's not important (like Ska music.)
[edit] Who reads The Budget
It has been proved that nobody has actually read The Budget; it is even rumoured that The Budget does not actually exist, and that inside the red handbag is nothing but newly developed photos of Labour's after party.
Though the following have claimed to have read The Budget (but they lie, oh, they lie):
- Some Wikipedia guy (*snare*)
- Gordon Brown
- Oscar Wilde
Also Jack Dee is rumoured to have read The Budget while inside the red handbag, however the claims were denied.
