The Fad War

The Fad War was the bloodiest battle within the The Great Internet War until the battle between YTMND & MySpace. The battle started with a misunderstanding between YTMND and Gamefaqs's LUE. While Comander ChuckNorrisKilledAGu was mourning his dead son, Lue thought he was having a kegger, and proceeded to insult YTMND's burrial customs, going so far as to seting the corpse on fire and using it as a punching bag. The next morning, ChuckNorrisKilledAGu declared war on Gamefaqs.

[edit] Tensions Between the Sites

While the act by LUE was the final straw, for many years tensions have been building up between the sides. Fanboys endlessly argued which side's fads were better. YTMND believed that the endless wall of gifs that all said the same thing showed detication to the art of fadding, while Gamefaqs had Lueshi, a fad that was known all across the internet. Small invasion forces attacked eachother, until the 1st of March, 2008.

[edit] Sneak Attack of The Battle of Gamefaqs

At 7:00 am, Gamefaqs's defences went down for repairs, as they did every morning, for five minutes. By 7:03, YTMND snuck over 2 million soldiers in through the Gamefaqs/Gamespot boarder. When the defences came back online, the soldiers were already tearing through the Gamefaq's lines. By the time GF had eliminated the enemy, they had lost nearly all of their soldiers. All they had left was the large civilion population of fanboys.

For the next 8 months, Gamefaqs was totaly cut off from the internet. 3.5 million YTMND soldiers bombarded Gamefaqs with endless streams of annoying mp3s, flashing gifs, and 1337-5p3@k. Gamefaqs slowly trained their fanboys into an army, armed with Chuck Norris jokes, "Hi Odworth!" topics, and mounted them on Luishies. On October 10th, the second battle of the Fad War began.

In the middle of the day, 5 million fanboys charged upon YTMND's lines. At the start, it looked like Gamefaqs might be pushing back the invaders, but in reality it was just the fanboy's unrelenting logic of "My opinion = truth". So, after killing only fourty-two YTMND soldiers, the fanboys began thinking that they were wining and left the battle to go argue about which Zelda game was better. Nearly 4 million Gamefaqs soldiers lost their lives, with the rest executed for being pussies.

The blockade continued, slowly depriving Gamefaqs of despreatly needed resourses. Meanwhile, YTMND joined forces with Yahoo, and continued bombing Gamefaqs into nothingness. The end would come from the third, and final, battle, beginning on April 14th, and ending only one day later.

[edit] The Battle of Odworth

Secretly, Gamefaqs had been building a bomb of massive power, well over 200 MegaLOL's, enough to destroy the entire YTMND army. It had taken the power of over 5 million fanboy's messages, all consintrated into a pen shaped device. General ODworth was going to use the pen to sign a surender with ChuckNorrisKilledAGu, activating the bomb. But due to the unrelenting attacks, Odworth was crushed under a 10 foot high Sean Connery head, and the bomb activated. Over the next 24 hours, the YTMND army just had to kill what was left of the Gamefaqs army.

Among the wreckage of the site, ChuckNorrisKilledAGu found a document for an alliance between Gamefaqs, Google, MySpace, and Wikipedia. He knew that this couldn't happen, for a force of that power would be unstoppable. So, ChuckNorrisKilledAGu, with the YTMND army, formed an alliance with Yahoo, and attacked Google.
