Contents

[edit] The Book

This piece of Literature was originally conceived by one mop haired freak trying to out do his friend at an Innovative Humour Designers competition. The Book was written in 2002 whist the author was at school and so reflects the immaturity, maybe that is one of the reasons why the Book has never achieved world wide circulation.

[edit] The Internet: Volume 1

The idea of placing the Book of Stupid Quotes on the internet came about during the First Annual TBOSQ Conference held in the Conservatory of the School Quad. The aim was ot open readership to the illiterate and to the Americans raising predicted reader numbers from 31 to 50million. The failure of one member to add the site to Google Index effectively negating any increase in visitor numbers. Unnoficial counters at the botton of the page estimated Hits to be 31, 25 of these to be the author himself.

[edit] The Internet: Volume 2

Volume Two was as poor as sequels come but still lifted gems of quotations from a whole new test group, those unsuspecting people at College. To this date best quotes have included; "" and "" Hits during Volume 2's hiatus peaked the counter above 400 as frenzy grew into cult and people started bombarding the author with papers to be signed and continued to try and say stupid things in the aim of being quoted. As a result the author took a liking to binge drinking that got himself into a dire state. Confusingly these were some of the best times for TBOSQ.

[edit] The Internet: The Ressurrection

Re Started in January 2006 by another unknown man brought the rights to the site offf the author in a rendez vous outside of a suspicious nightclub. We have as yet no clue as to what exchanged hads as part of the deal we can only quote of the site itself, "He swore me to secrecy, an Oral not to tell."

The Volume 3 version is constantly being revied with quotes added periodically, we thnk from the same college as previous volumes, The Book though is scarisant and it is rumoured that The Book's forces are gathering in the east reading to outset revenge on their new master. They plan to do this by bombarding him with emails containing Stupid Quotes to which the new Master will rejoice until the virus slowly spreads through the computer destroying everything, even the little My Little Ponygame.

At present the site is currently receiving 100 hits a week, easly smashing previous records ofr the site and perhaps even for .tk domains. A total of 232 people have visited the site since the Ressurrection on the 11th January 2006, after a year of laying dormant. The hope in the internet world is that the site will continue to grow and that the author can maintain funds for the site through shameless exploitation of Google Ads
