Ukulele is a 17-string instrument, mostly preferred by acid-base indicated fusion jazz musicians. However it is widely used in many genres. Hell, even you might have used it and never noticed.

On a sunny day, Mory Kante was minding his own business which is chopping wood. Walking through the jungle, he stumbled upon a pumpkin and a toad. He grabbed the toad and licked it, then snorted it. 13 seconds later he had a vision: he was playing something in front of thousands of people and everybody was dancing slowly to the music. After this vision, he tried to build that instrument with his pumpkin. Unfortunately, he had an immense amount of difficulty building an instrument out of a pumpkin, so he attempted to make it out of a pineapple, still with no luck. Eventually, he did manage to make his instrument, making it out of spinach that he painted brown so it looked like it was made of wood.
The instrument has a very distunguished sound. It sounded like a baby's laughter mixed with the sound of chewing gum. After his first record, My Life with Ukulele, people heard and adored the sound. Next thing you know everybody in the world got a ukulele.

Playing ukulele comes from the heart, although some people have learned to play it using their spleen. Once you've played it once, you will always remember how, because it is actually addictive.
