The BBC has come under fire once again for letting down its viewers in a free gift give away. Hordes of furious viewers are complaining to the corporation and regulator Ofcom complaining that they still have not received their Free Alan Johnston.

One disgruntled viewer from Doncaster commented “They’ve wasted a fortune publicising this with TV coverage and even a banner on Television Centre, but it’s been months and we’ve still not received anything. I was planning on using mine as a gardener as I’ve got a bad back.”

This viewer is not alone; many single parents had been hoping to send out their free Alan Johnston to work in the hope of raising additional funds to support their children. The emergency services say they are disappointed at the no show. Their flood relief plans involve an army of 250,000 Alan Johnstons’ to drink excess floodwaters to aid communities; unconfirmed reports state these Alan Johnstons’ would be sent to urinate the flood waters along Downing Street in a protest over fire fighters pay.

The BBC so far has not commented on the matter.
