Uncarrot

This is an uncarrot. One should note however, that there are many different types of uncarrots and this is a picture of just one type of them.

Uncarrot is anything that is not a carrot. The difference between an uncarrot and a carrot is a bit like the difference between true and false. If something is true, it is not false. If something is a carrot, it certainly is not an uncarrot.

Unlike carrot, uncarrot is not necessarily edible.

In the light of recent scientific research, it is now widely believed uncarrots have existed at least for as long as carrots have. The name 'uncarrot' was first mentioned by your dad in the year 1926 when he wrote about his failed attempt at cooking a vegetable soup.

Here is a portion of his writing:

 The soup had a peculiar smell. However,
 I believed that was just because I put so
 much fresh onion into the soup. Foolish me.

 When I tasted the soup I got convinced that
 it was not the onion which made the soup smell
 different from the usual soup. There were
 something in the soup that didn't belong there.

 At the same time, I discovered I had forgotten
 carrots from the soup. I thought for a while, and
 come to conclusion that the something that made the 
 soup taste and smell peculiar, is an uncarrot, very 
 different from a carrot. 

 I will have further study on this after
 I learn how to do a vegetable soup right.

Indeed, other scientists soon were able to find many uncarrots following Daddy's experiment, and not just from cuisine. Uncarrots were reported to be found from various environments including, but not limited to forests, deserts, urban environments, mountains, fields and even sea and space.

It took only a few years for scientists to agree that uncarrots exist almost everywhere. Those locations, where uncarrots don't exist, are filled with carrots, thus, leaving no room for uncarrots.

Even though the question about where uncarrots can be found is mostly answered, there are still few debatable issues concerning uncarrot, mostly about some objects or things, whether they are uncarrots or carrots.

[edit] Carrot juice and other carrot based products

While it is now widely accepted that carrot juice is not an uncarrot, there are still some groups that argue carrot juice should be considered an uncarrot. They say carrot juice is not a carrot so it must be an uncarrot. Others argue carrot juice is a carrot based product and can be called 'carrot' to some extent. Therefore, they believe it is not an uncarrot. This carrot juice debate applies also to other carrot based products like grated carrot.

Most of the research on uncarrot now is related to this matter. It is not known for sure how long uncarrots have been around. Most believe first uncarrots came about the same time first carrots. Some theories however state that uncarrots have existed long before carrots, even before the Earth, going far back to the Big Bang.

[edit] Uses of an uncarrot

Due to it's nature of being anything but a carrot, uncarrot has many uses. Uncarrots can be used as a mean of transportation, it can be eaten, it can be read and other things, depending on the subclass of that uncarrot.

The amount of uses of an uncarrot is too large to be listed here but is is sufficient to say anything that can be done with a carrot is usually doable with an uncarrot. However, one can not do as many things with a carrot that he or she can do with an uncarrot.
