Writer of the Month
January 2006
David Gerard beat out down Charles Dickens for the win.

- For I vote for him cause he's thr first in the list. --User:csaba
- Not only is David friendly and appreciative — two traits that should get him kicked off the admin list — he is also the author of one of my favorite articles, Fountainhead Earth, and can go from page creation to Featured status in under a week. Because of this I hereby nominate him for WotM and cast my vote as well. ---

Underwire support ~ In retrospect, A Sale of Two Titties wasn't the worst book I ever read. It was rather good, really. And yes, I know he's run against David before, but it was a stalemate then too. I need lift and separation resolution. -- T. (talk) 15:47, 1 Jan 2006 (UTC)

Two richly deserving writers battled it out this month, with Todd Lyons snatching victory after an end-of-the-month surge past Slackerboy. I don't even know if Anidnmeno has written anything.

With five featured articles under his belt, including The Oldest Trick in the Book and the brilliantly un-PC satire Niggers, this boy is no slacker. After losing the race for WotM last June with the flip of a coin, Slack deserves another another shot at the title. But watch out, astadt nominated his competition that month too. They just don't post publically as often as I do, so it's easier to overlook their presence and valuable contributions. But thank you. hotnesstalent cannot be contained, and it'd be unfair to put him in the February race so late in the game. Doug has written VCR Manual (featured), Toilet Door Communication (featured), and Uncyclopedia:UnProject Internal Consistency in Uncyclopedia (new in box), as well as several UnNews stories and other stuff. Apparently he also started or had something to do with Worst 100 Ways to Deliver Bad News (featured) as well. Additionally, he has probably the single best user page I've seen on Uncyc.
