A picture is worth a thousand words. It can also make a good article into a very good article. If you see an article in sore need of a picture, request the image here. Surely someone out there has a digital camera and the 'shopping skills to generate original images? (N.B. copyright-related shenanigans apply when uploading pictures)

The idea of this page is that it is for photos that are original or photoshopped, or for getting help finding an image that adds a lot to a page. If you simply want an illustrative image that is already all over the place on the internet, use GIS [1]. I have this page on my watchlist, and I am sure that there are a few other people who have more PS skill than I do, so any request will probably lead to an image.

Also, since original content is better than just copying an image from some other site, if there are any images that are already uploaded but could have something added to them, post that up too. --Paulgb 09:55, 24 Mar 2005 (EST)

And a note from me: we try to pick up what we can on here, but be patient, we're busy, and can't respond to all requests straight away!

Also, this is really image request, rather than inspiration request. So please try to have an idea of the image you want in mind. If you ask for a specific image, it's easier to produce (or just to tell you it's not something we can do!). If not, you you may be waiting for a long time! I would pretty please like a picture to use on a page that I would make. The picture should be an edited box front of Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheats that instead reads "Kellog's Frosted Mini Jews - It's like a holocaust in every bite!" How's this? You'd need to rip the video, then take out the frames with virtual dub and then Bob's your uncle. But, there are no good free YouTube rippers anymore.~
