1. Against; while I do, truly, appreciate the sentiment of this nomination (and not just the part of the nomination that mentions me), I am voting against this image. Mainly because that rocket-smoke-trail-thing looks way out of place (try blurring the edges and adding noise, for a start). Plus, it didn't make me laugh. I must agree with RAHB on this one. Very nice image, well executed, but, at the end of the day, its just Earth as a Death Star, and its not making me laugh. 1. You notice the headline up there? It's the photoshop magic. It's text based only because it's a picture of a newspaper. But look at that smiling man! He makes me feel warm and fuzzy, and although we'll never know his name, he'll always be there to remind us. Remind us of something. Actually, now that I get a good look at it, this photoshop is so well done, I'm not even sure it's a photoshop anymore. Actually, yeah, who does Cap'n Ben think he is, trying to pass this off as a photoshop? Oh no wait, I see it. Sorry about that. Yeah, anyway, this is just... it's... it's just so awesome. Against; it is obvious that this was created by making a white box (white, which I might add, does not match the grey of the newspaper) and then placing text on top of that white box (text, which I might add, does no fit in with the other text of the newspaper).
